if you have a lease, the LL cant simply give you 30 days notice. even in a month-to-month situation, i don't think its that simple. depending on the laws in your state/city (i'm not sure where you are), your rights vary. search the tenantnet site for the laws for your state. it doesn't sound like any of your transgressions were chronic, that is, you didn't need to be asked twice to fix things, so there's not really a case there for them to boot you out.
