The landlord is correct on this one.....he has given you a 30 day notice of a rent increase or to move....

Unless you paid 2 months security or last months rent, then its Dec 31st.

: I am a renter of a condo unit and just got a new lease from my landlord. My dilemma is that he has raised my rent from $1900 w/utilities included to $2500 a month and no utilities. My question is...can he?

: Also, he has given me 15 days to sign this new lease or I have to vacate the apartment by Nov 30th. Any help would be appreciated as to my rights with a condo lease as compared to a rent controlled apt and the time frame of the increase and move date.
