This is precisely why most people are reluctant to accept packages for tenants - whether it's a leasing office or a fellow tenant. Obvioulsy all packages are worth something and if they're lost nobody is going to want to take responsibility for them.

Without knowing the details, my guess it that persuing this will hurt your relationship with the leasing office more than it's worth.

: My leasing office accepts UPS packages and signs for them. I initialed a waiver not holding them responsible for my packages (not thinking I would not receive anything ordered by mail)in my initial lease. They signed for a package containing $100 worth of merchandise from UPS and lost it (or it was stolen). Do I have any recourse?
