Listen, the only thing the LL can do if you're not out tomorrow is serve you with a 30-day notice-that's it-you've got your 30 days. LL cannot lock you out, change the locks, move your stuff out of the apartment or do anything to prevent you from being in that apartment.
What he can do is serve you with a 30-day notice, after which LL can take you to court to evict you. But you're going anyway. If LL already signed a lease with a new tenant for the place you're currently in, well the new tenant will just have to wait, just like you have to do, until the current tenants in your new place vacate. Just make sure you move by the end of December. If they change the locks or do anything to keep you from being in that apartment, take your lease and phone bills, etc to the nearest poilice precinct and tell them the LL has locked you out.
