What does your lease say about showing the apartment? Six months before the expiration of the lease is found in some form leases.

Does the lease specify why the landlord can show the apartment: for rental of the apartment, for sale of the building, etc.?

:
: I am renting a coop in Brooklyn. I just received a letter from the selling agent that my landlord will not renew my lease when it ends in 9/02. The agent wants to show the apartment now, the apartment is legally mine until 9/02. My question is, can I refuse to let them show the apartment to prospect buyer while I am still living in the apartment?
