Is it normal for a handicapped access case to still be pending 3-1/2 years with this agency? This aged neighbor of mine is practically a prisoner in her apartment, unable to use a wheelchair or scooter. Her physical problems have been exacerbated because the assigned NYCHA lawyer seems to me to be jerking her around and delaying, and she is now facing hip surgery and cannot return to the apartment without that access.
Does anyone have any resource info to light a fire under the staff attorney?
