You're right. Some are more benign -- and not all issues are worth a fight. But some are, so it's important to look at the situation first. Community boards can have some impact, but it needs well-versed residents to push the issue on its own as well. This is an issue we've seen throughout the west side.

: A LL friend of mine said agencies who place these ads will pay as much as $6000 per month for a high visibility location. That must be pretty attractive to most LLs, especially those who have moderately priced rent stabilied buildings.
