Mice hate steel wool. You must seal every hole, no matter how small.
Mix up a batch of plaster-of-paris(mix with water) and shred a lot of steel wool into that. With a putty knife fill up the holes. Get the steel wool from the hardware store-do not get the kind with soap(SOS) in it-mice will eat the soap. Use a flashlight to look under and behind plumbing, sinks, toilets, in closets, behind radiators.
