I just got a new apt and paid not only first and last months rent but also a month security. We wanted to paint some walls and the LL said we had to get the colors approved and agree to paint them back. I am ok with that and they did approve them but now they are saying they need an additional deposit to cover the re-paint, which was not in th lease. This seems unreasonable. We really like the apt, can we be evicted for this?
