Is there anyone out there willing to help with a national day of protest on housing issues ? The Eviction Defense Network S.F. is, and we're going to try to organize one for early 1997.
The general idea is that individual groups and organizers will pick something appropriate for their locality. Unity is really important here. We, as a matter of principal link most all tenant issues- Rent Control, Squatting, Public Housing, Immigratiion, Womyn's Issues, etc. Our working title is Rage Against Rent.
