Discrimination

Posted by Solomon Lee on February 11, 1997 at 04:08:58:

I have been trouble with the mold couple months, but last winter was so wet,
the problem was worsened; I have complained to apartment office for 3 months,
they never responsed, even nobody showed up; Finally, I held the rent with
advising them that I can't pay the rent until they solve the problem;
But still there was no response at all. When I held the rent of 2nd month,
finally manager showed up; As soon as he found the seriousness of the problem,
he asked me to relocate to another apartment immediately; Now I am behind
3 months rent, and they asked me to pay the balance; but still I feel being
humiliated and rejected last 3 months; and that physically I got some damages
beside the mental damages;Nobody understood how much we suffered that long!
On top of that, because of the sudden and unnecessary moving, I lost some money;
Is there anyone who can help me or advise me how to confront this headache?
