I am looking for some advice. My wife is an opera singer and practices in our apartment. I was recently
served a ten day notice to cure the noise coming from my apartment. Over the last three months I have
solved the problem by creating a virtual sound proof apartment. I have met my adjacent neighbors and
they feel the problem is solved. The landlord is still proceeding, although I have not been served
any additional papers, with the intent of getting a stipulation from a judge saying that if they
have additional complaints from tenants I can be evicted. The apartment is rent stabilized and moving is
not an option. Has anyone been through a similar experience?
