Landlords don't follow the contracts, but we have to, what's that?

Posted by Shari on May 29, 1997 at 23:15:26:

I am trying to stay in my home, while the corporation who owns the complex does not feel they need to enforce the rules of the contract. They have proceeded to rip off several elderly people.

Has anyone heard of being able to win in a case of breach of contract on the landlord's part.

All laws are for the landlord. There is nothing in Washington State, I found so far, that allows tenants recourse if the owner does not comply with "THEIR" contract.

Any help will do. I am not going down without a fight!

New Yorker's: Check out the Seattle laws. They have really made some decent differences over there. I am next to Idaho, clear on the other side, with the good ol' boys (with cell phones and country clubs, of course).

thanks!
