Under rent stabilization, there is a limited right to sublet for 1 year out of a 2 year lease. Somewhere in this site you probably can find the appropriate rules.

There is a limit to what you can charge. I believe it is your current rent, with a small markup if you sublet the apartment furnished.

Many people in your situation would be tempted to do an illegal sublet, charging whatever the market would bear. However, if you do this you can lose the apartment (it is grounds for eviction.) Also, your subtenant can sue you for triple the total amount of the overcharge.
