A question (a rhetorical one if you don't feel like answering it)

Did you vote for Pataki in 1994. Since you're a rent regulated tenant I guessing the chance is about
1 in 5 that you did. If you voted against him, and he won, why do you think if you vote against him
this time, he'll lose.

This is what a large part of this whole political melodrama is about. The city voted agaist Pakaki.
He won anyway. Now comes the retribution. He has orchastrated this whole thing (who do you think pulls
Joe Bruno's strings.) Do you think he was so stupid that he didn't know what kind of reaction kill the
rent laws would create in the city. This was all figured into his plan.

: Basically, I believe I know the answer to this, but my lease expires Oct 31st of this year.
: To confirm my future predicament, if the laws expire as of June 15th, then this means that
: my landlord can charge any rent its pleases. To understand correctly, this means that I in
: no way am protected from absurd lease renewals, and if I do not agree with such than I will
: be forced to move. As is I am currently paying $700 for a one bedroom, and this justified
: amount (in my eyes) is not sufficient to the dumb boys up in Albany. They will let my future
: and disruptions lie within landlords that are money hungry as vampires are for blood. Well
: thanks guys for involuntarily exposing my viens. Well, in retaliation, all I can say is come
: voting time, I will expose one and all to unemployment lines at the poll booth.
