The millionaire landlords have declared war on the people of New York City.
Their surrogates in Albany will carry out their paid-for wishes from the safety
of suburbia. It's just like Vietnam, only now WE are the Vietnamese.

The only way to stop them is by mass protest in the streets, and not just in
Albany! Right here in New York ... where we live and where we are threatened.

They'll answer polite protest and letters with a polite cutting of our throats.
They understand perfectly what they are doing, even if some of us do not.

What they will understand:
Mass protests in front of their offices and the offices of their politicians
right here in NY. They might consider listening to a million people in front
of Gracy Mansion or City Hall or the NYC Governor's office

Let's circulate the names and addresses -- in the city and outside it -- of
all the biggest landlords and their political stooges. People will know what
to do!

CITYWIDE RENTSTIKE until the rent laws are guaranteed! They understand money
and they understand masses of furious people.

The fire next time.

It's us or them folks. Make no mistake that this is a declared war by the
few against the millions of us. It's Vietnam again and we had better stop
forgetting what we learned way back when.

There's a demo tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday May 1st, at 4pm at the north
end of Union Square! Be there. Fight back while you can still afford to live
in NY.
