Does my landlord have the right to monitor and limit the visits of frequent guests e.g. my boyfriend? The lease only addresses legal occupancy of the apartment, not overnight guests. Also, does the appearance of a frequent guest, about whom there have been no complaints registerred by any member of the house, allow a rent increase or threat of eviction??? What can I do to counter these threats????
