Landlord wants to sell and have unlimited access

Posted by Jennifer Jarrad on September 27, 1997 at 14:11:31:

Two items. 1. My lease will be up in Dec.97. The landlord wants to sell the home and has listed it with a real estate agent. My front door bolts from the inside only, so she has requested I leave the door unbolted to provide access to the real estate agent. She then goes on to say she will not be responsible for any valuables that are stolen. How do you hide a $5000 computer system? 2. The house needs a replumbing job before she can sell it, so she's doing it next week. I have to take all the items out of the cabinets, sink, etc. for the plumber, and she again states she or the plumber will not be responsible for breakage of valuables. Also it appears she will only be with the plumber in the morning, then she's leaving him here on his own to finish the job. HELP!
