Lets be real now. The real reason why the "CITIZENS" of this a-hum
great state has been screwed for the past 30 or 40yrs. is because of
reps like Manny Gold, whom has been in office for as long as Dole.
His job is a part time job and probably makes more than your salary and
mine put together. I have been to his office ,written letters, and e-mailed him on his
voting record. I havent gotten (1) response. They (pol) are so liberal
until they get into office then become more conservative than I am and I'm
in the Consevative Party.
If we can get initiatives in a new state constitution then we can make
a difference with the power of the ballot.
If you could get enough signitures for a referendum on the ballot to
get back tenants rights to pre "97 then the people would decide
at the voting booth.It would be the will of the people. WE THE PEOPLE.
The problem is that you don't have enough time to go and get petitions
and protest. You let your reps do the job for you but thy are no good.
We did it in the 60's to bring the boys home.Don't let anyone think
for you or do for you. Do it for yourself. Only you can make it happen.
Oh! and lets not knock the reuplicans so much. The TRUTHis that
Nixon did bring the boys home.
The truth is that the N.Y.Bar is against the covention.
