: My boyfriend's landlord says that I am living at his apartment, using water, etc. I stay over 2-3 nights/week. DON'T use any water, wash clothes, take a shower, etc. She is trying to restrict the number of days and hours that I can be at his apartment. I have my own apartment and do not live at his house. Does anyone know of any law regarding this issue of a landlord trying to limit visiting because she thinks I'm living there and believes it is morally wrong. How can she do this if he pays his rent every month?
Technically, the landlord can do nothing (I would bet on this). If
you were there, say, six days and nights a week, the landlord could
try to have the two of you evicted, although the landlord would probably
lose his/her case if you're only there three nights a week.

If it is possible, ignore the landlord.
