I have received a couple of e-mails stating (in effect):
"Why don't you go over there and yell and scream and demand
she move her car? Are you spineless or something?"

1) My traditional "modus operendi" has been to lose my temper,
yell and scream, and generally act nasty towards the offending
party. I *am* an assertive person.

2) The landlord and his family have a reputation among their
tenants as being *complete assholes* who don't care about anything
or anybody other than the rent money (they'd rent to Hitler if he
had the cash). I wanted *specific legal citations* to back me
up in case this situation arose again.

3) These people aren't my original landlords. When I first moved in
the property was owned by a very nice, personable couple. Eight months
later they sold the property to these other people. So, in essence
I was here *first*.
