Management is ignoring my needs

Posted by Boris on February 06, 1998 at 10:20:43:

Hello,
I live in a rent stabilized building, which is ruled by the Trump
management in the Brooklyn. It is already two years as I ask
to move myself into the two-bedroom appartment. I take care of my
mother and we live in one-bedroom appt. But each time I call the
management i was told that there are no 2-beds.They say that I am
in line but refuse to tell me what my number was originally and
what is it now. And each couple of
months somebody is moving into 2 beds. More then that , I was
checking with several real estates and they offer 2-beds in my
building! And they told me that I cannot take that appartment even
from them, because I am already in the building. It looks so weird
for me. I would appreciate any suggestions how to behave in this
situation.
