Unable to locate original lease as yet, although latest offer for renewal on apartment which tenant has occupied since 1994 was 22% over current rent. Are there legal maximums on rent increases a landlord can charge current tenants? It is a 9 story, approx. 35 unit building, Park So. and 18th St.
