NY Sublease

Posted by John on September 12, 1998 at 14:52:51:

My landlord won't approve a sublease, because he says he wants to sell the building.
Does this constitute a "reasonable" reason to turn me down?

Once he says no, who can I turn to for appeal? This is a legal sublease,
strictly by the book.
