My downstairs neighbors have filed complaints w/ my landlord about excessive noise from my apartment. I have received notice from my landlord stating that I can be evicted if the complaints continue. However, my apartment is 80% carpeted, I walk around barefoot, I don't play the stereo after 10PM, and even during the day I don't play it loudly. They have filed these complaints without once saying anything to me, and they won't respond when I ask them to tell me what I'm doing so I can correct it.

What can I do?
