A friend of mine is having a problem with an old roommate. They moved out of their apartment and the security check was sent to the roommate, who said she would send my friend her half. However, she has yet to do this, and keeps saying she will, but my friend believes she never will. What kind if action can my friend take?

(I'm not positive if they were both on the lease, but I think they were.)

Any ideas?
