since the rental was based upon false and misleading statements..the contract/lease is null and have the right to break the contract/lease upon breach of contract with repsect to misrepresentation...since the landlord admitted this then you should negotiate a minimum of a lease surrender and a return of security deposit.. if not then proceed with small claims action...
