You should alert the landlord and tell him about your situation asap. Call and follow up with a certified letter.

If you go to court you can make arrangements to pay the rent with the landlord. If you pay the rent you WILL NOT be evicted.

You MUST appear in court or you could be evicted.

If there are any problems with the apartment, you should tell that to the landlord NOW and the court clerk when you ANSWER the law suit.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN WIDE DO NOT MISS COURT DATE !!!
