I live in a three apt brownstone in Greenpoint. My roomate had a lease a couple of years ago but we never had a renewal. The landlord told me today that relatives are coming from Poland "sometime early next year" and we will have to move. But the date is not set. What are our rights in this situation? Can we do anything? He said the other tennat of course stays because they just moved in and are paying "lots of money", actually just one hundred more than us.
Help....I don't want to move.
Is it time for a lawyer?
