: The following showing your name as resident/addressee at apt in question (in rough
: decending order of importance):

: Tax returns
: Utility bills
: Bank Statements / Credit Card Statements
: Paychecks/stubs
: Even magazine subscriptions

: Generate as large a weight of paperwork showing you do your personal business
: through the apartment.

: Affidavits from Neighbors can help.

: You need to find out what the LL is going to use (ie private investigators, super/doormen,
: any paperwork he can find showing residence somewhere else.), and refute it.

: : My landlord is trying to evict me based on the fact I am never home and
: : my sister is always there. What proof do I have to show to the court that I
: : am a primary resident. The lease is only in my name. Also how does he prove
: : I am not, what type of evedence will he have to show if he claims I am living
: : elsewhere.

Also consider delivery receipts for dry cleaning, gorceries, and other things that would tie you to the apartment. If you don't live in your apartment, then just where does your landlord say you live? If it's out of NYC, then show you file NYC resident income tax returns. A non-resident return would show a lower tax liability, and it would be against your interests to pay tax as a NYC resident.
