I've been a month to month renter for almost ten years and the landlord
is renovating my place, and has already scheduled a tenant who he
expects to move in Feb. 1, he asked me to move out by then but as of
yet haven't found a place. Does anyone know approximately how long
an eviction takes in Brooklyn these days? Also, I don't want to pay Jan's
rent 'cause I doubt I'll ever see my security if I do. Anyone having any
knowledge on such subjects would be appreciated. Thanks!
