I live in a 4-family house that has changed owners, who want me to move out before my lease is up.
I'll stay, but while we're here, they want to begin work immediately. Is there
any way I can keep this work from happening until after I move out -- it will be a nightmare since
this is an old house and you can hear everything, and their renovation would be an effective
means of harrasment.

Also, there is asbestos in the basement and nothing
is up to code. I know they will need a building permit for what they plan to do -- can a call to the
DOB stop work?
