There is no legal grace period. Your lease controls. Some lease forms do provide for grace periods. In New York City, a landlord cannot lock out or evict anyone who has been in occupancy for more than 30 days without obtaining a warrant of eviction. In effect, this works as a substantial grace period.

: Is there a grace period for payment of rent on a monthly basis written in law. I rent a non-controled/stablized apartment.
