I checked the unclaimed property link provided by Satori and my name name did not come up and neither did the name of some friends -- all of whom did come up on the New York State link. Can't explain it, but I don't think that Satori's unclaimed property link is a "better database" as described. I suggest folks check both, just to be safe.
