I live within a no pet building. However, prior to moving in,
the landlord let us move in with our white Siberian Husky. Our
dog is written into our lease. We received a letter from our
building management that several neighbors have complained about
our dog shedding hair within the building and stated that we are
responsible for cleaning up after our dog. I regularly vacuum
outside the door to our apartment but I do not clean the stairwell
and lobby (we live on the second floor of a 7-story walk-up). I
will continue to vacuum outside our doorway but are we responsible
for cleaning the other common areas (vestibule, lobby, stairwell)
of the building?
