New landlord,many changes

Posted by Evelyn on May 01, 1999 at 14:31:18:

Recently, we were informed that our building was sold. The new landlord appeared at our door and introduced himself. He never showed us any papers of ownership however the real estate company comfirmed that this man was our new L.L. To try to make a long story short, the building I lived in is attached to another building we share a common wall. Without notice the Landlord broke through the wall creating an entrance into the other building. I called the building inspector and the landlord was fined because he didn't have a permit to make these sudden changes to the place. Over a month went by and finally the hole in the wall has been patched up.I have also been informed that the ajoining building is in forecloser. What gives?
