I recently applied for an apartment and was denied because of my previous landlord's action to evict me from my apartment illegally and because of a false warrant he put on my record.

I am told that I can never get an apartment with that on my record. How do I get these off.

The landlord wished to take possession of his apartment for a girlfriend and gave me 30 days notice. He refused to cash a check that was dated on January 1 of the previous year (a human error)but instead of notifying me of my error put a warrant on my record.
