We thought Tokyo was astronomical...How do I begin to look for affordable places in New York in a short time?? Is everything just word of mouth? We are most interested in area around Riverdale. Anyone with good information gets a present from Japan -- like a three-tier bunk bed if that interests you.

We are so bewildered. Thank you for any help, ideas, encouragement, discouragement...
