I have submitted a sublease request to my LL in which, I believe, all necessary legal requirements have been met. My LL has acknowledged that all seems ok; they passed credit, and all other,checks. But now he has called (at the last moment, as all was to transpire on 6/1) to say he wants to move in some friends of his: can he do that??? It seems to me that that kind of subjective monopoly on housing would be illegal but all the things I've read (extensive search on this site/others/books)on the subject of subletting...and I still don't know the answer to this HELP!!! thanx Tuz
