I've been living in a rent stabalized apt for 3 years with one roomate. When we moved in, the landlord said she preferred to have only one name on the lease. But she still required me to fill out a resident registration form. She only accepts a rent check from my roomate. Now my roomate is thinking about moving out and I'd like to stay, but I 'm afraid she' ll try to raise the rent/draw up a new lease. I've heard she's done it to other residents before. DO I have any rights?
