NYC, unregulated apt.
Are landlords required to paint between tenants? We're moving out and we patched and spot covered picture holes, but the landlord wants us to repaint the whole walls uniform coats (due to aging of the paint the same shade is slightly darker). Am I required to do this? Or does he need to repaint himself? Should I have patched but not painted?

I know the three year painting regulation....
