Civil Court Section Sets Annual Dinner

The Civil Court Practice Section of the New York
County Lawyers' Association will hold its annual
dinner Wednesday at 6 p.m. at SPQR, 133 Mulberry
Street in Manhattan.

The principal speaker will be Appellate Division, First Department, Presiding Justice Betty
Weinberg Ellerin. Guest speakers will include
Appellate Division, First Department, Associate
Justice Israel Rubin and Administrative Judge for Matrimonial Matters Jacqueline W. Silbermann.

To be honored at the event are past and present
members of the Civil Court of the City of New
York Advisory Council to the Housing Court;
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Fern
Fisher-Brandveen and Andrew Scherer, co-authors
of Residential Landlord-Tenant Laws in New York;
and Daniel Finkelstein and Lucas A. Ferrara,
co-authors of Landlord and Tenant Practice in New York.
