save the trees

Posted by anthony vile on June 03, 1999 at 00:35:41:

Enquiry on behalf of distressed neighbour who has been enjoying her lovely garden for eight years, until now. Her buildimg has been sold and the new landlord has decided the backyard is perfect for his tomato garden. His has instigated the wolesale decimation of her green handi-work including the ring barking of mature trees that neighbouring buildings also enjoy. Does the landlord really have the right to do this in the yard of a building he does not reside in. does a tenant have 'green rights'?
