Retract notice to vacate

Posted by Michelle on June 05, 1999 at 16:38:26:

My company is transfering me out west. I gave a 60 day notice, which is required in my lease. My company has now told me that they have pushed back the date and I won't be leaving until mid-august. My original lease expires in October. The rental agency has told me that they have already rented my apartment to another individual and that I have two choices. One is to move to another vacant apartment and sign another year lease or leave promptly at the end of my 60 day notice.I would like to stay in my apartment until the end of august. Here are some side notes: 1) The rental agency requires a Job Transfer notice to which I have not yet supplied. 2) I live with my fiancee and he signed the 60 day vacating notice , but I did not.
