Does anyone know.....
I have a roomate who is now an ex-business partner, and we are currently going through a business breakup with lawyers. He is vengeful, living in Boston, and refusing to get off of the NYC lease or continue paying rent. So, I have a guy who wants to move in as a sublet until the end of the lease-6 months. What happens if I let the new guy move in and the current jerk returns saying he wants to stay there, but yet he has abandonded the lease . The new is paying rent and the old guy isn't. Who has right here?
