Thanks for writing your note. I didn't see a rental assignment in the reel for my building but I will get a printout and look. In my case, the landlord presented an assignment of rents from the prior owner to the realty company, a partnership only, not the six names on the deed.

I went to the Bronx county clerk and found that the six names on the deed are are partners in the realty co. They also own another company. On line 5 of the MDR, the realty companies name appears as owner and only two of the six names appear on the MDR as responsible persons. The third responsible person is left blank. There also is no site manager but one of the partners is listed as managing agent. Leases are being signed in the partnership name.
