Eviction due to a pet...

Posted by Josh Tate on June 23, 1999 at 21:09:48:

Our landlord served us with a Notice to Cure regarding the harboring of our pet today. We've lived in this building for over eight months and take our dog for a walk every day. Every doorman in this building and our super is aware that we've had our pet since the day we moved in. Now they want us to remove our pet, pay their legal fees or face eviction. From what I can tell, the 90-day Pet Waive applies to us. What's my next, best step in regards to dealing with their Notice to Cure? Asking us to get rid of our little Truffle would be like asking us to put our baby in the kennel. Thanks for any help!!
