: Can Landlord fix up apt & attempt to rent while I am still paying on my existing written lease although I have substantially moved out? The only evidence I have so far is; he or someone has reconnected power which I turned off. I want to prevent him from profiting on "my nickel." What can I do to protect myself?

Perhaps he turned on the lights to be able to show the apt to prospects... usually allowed in leases.
