We have been verbally told by a collections agent that they will not renew our current lease which ends Sept.30, 1999 because of our history of late payments. Do they have to notify us by mail that our lease will not be renewed? We presently are paid up to date, and they are holding THREE MONTHS RENT as a security deposit. If we receive nothing in writing regarding not renewing our lease do we have any recourse to renew? Or, without any notice of renewal can we be evicted on September 30th? HELP!
