Yes, your landlady can sue you and your boyfriend for the rent through February 29, 2000, although she may have trouble finding either one or both of you. If she re-rents the apartment, she could sue for the costs to repair any damage done, re-renting, and other expenses, if she can find either one or both of you.

: He wants to move out and so do I. We both signed a one year lease which expires on March 1.
